The Heart Failure Society of America is pleased to announce the 2020 Board Certification Review Course will continue as planned on July 31-August 1, with necessary modifications in light of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation. To ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our attendees, faculty, staff, and the community, the course will be held as a virtual livestream and enduring course. HFSA is working diligently on creating an enhanced interactive and immersive virtual experience that will continue to deliver a premier learning experience and opportunities for interactivity and networking.
We encourage you to register for this virtual livestream and watch your inbox for updates.
The livestreamed course will take place July 24, July 31, and August 1. To access this content, attendees must be present at the scheduled time or else they will need to wait until it is released ondemand, approximately two weeks post-meeting. The full agenda is available on the Program tab.
Planning Your Experience
The course will be comprised of ondemand webinars accessible at anytime, livestreamed sessions, Q&A panels with experts, and bonus features. These components are outlined on the Program tab. To ensure you get the most from the 2020 HFSA Board Certification Review Course Virtual Livestream, follow these important guidelines for when and how to complete materials and participate.
- The pre-recorded webinar series will be available ondemand, and can be completed at the attendee's convenience.
- Attendees should anticipate being online for the full sessions outlined under the Livestream Sessions to maximize their learning potential. However, if a livestream session must be missed due to other circumstances, all livestream sessions will be available for attendees to download and access approximately two weeks after the meeting concludes on August 1.
- Faculty "Office Hours" will be live; therefore, attendees are encouraged to be available during these hours to engage in Q&A as final prep for the exam.
Attendees will receive more information in the days to come on system requirements to participate in livestream, live polling, chat, and Q&As.
