Membership Categories and 2022 Pricing

HFSA proudly serves all those in the heart failure profession (clinicians, researchers, scientists, and more) as well as those affected by heart failure (patient and caregivers). Explore all HFSA membership categories and pricing below. 

Professional Membership Categories

All rates in U.S. dollars

Physician – $440

MDs, DOs, or equivalent engaged in heart failure practice or research, located in the U.S.

Nurse – $220

Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, or equivalent engaged in heart failure practice or research, located in the U.S.

Pharmacist – $220

Pharmacists, Pharmacologists, or equivalent engaged in heart failure practice or research, located in the U.S.

Physician Assistant – $220

PAs or equivalent engaged in heart failure practice or research, located in the U.S.

International – $384

All healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, scientists, researchers, professors, or equivalent located outside the U.S., are engaged in the field of heart failure.

Trainee – $83

Individuals enrolled as full-time medical students, residents, fellows, undergraduate students, and pre-and postdoctoral trainees. (A letter of verification on institute letterhead, including the end of training date from the training program director, is required with payment of dues.)

Basic / PhD Scientist  – $220

Scientists, researchers, professors, or equivalent engaged in heart failure practice or research.

Non-Medical/Industry – $220

Non-medical members of the heart failure team, such as technicians, pharmaceutical/industry representatives, administrative and allied personnel, who are engaged in heart failure practice or research.

Other Health Care Professionals – $220

Members of the heart failure team who are engaged in heart failure practice or research.

Education and Professional Development*

Reduced Registration for In-Person, Virtual and Hybrid Meetings.  The HFSA Annual Scientific Meeting, the HFSA Board Certification Review Course: Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology, the Comprehensive Heart Failure Review and Update Course, and more (view the Events calendar).  HFSA members receive significantly reduced rates to attend this stellar lineup of education sessions.

HFSA Learning Center Discounts and Free Content.  Receive free and discounted educational content in the HFSA Learning Center. The HFSA Learning Center allows online access to HFSA’s most popular in-person meetings and courses, providing CEUs and MOC credit.

Education Delivered by Multidisciplinary Experts. Learn from all members of the heart failure care team with interprofessional leaders sharing case studies, hands-on workshops, research, and best practices.

HFSA Heart Failure Subspecialty Certification.  Heart failure certification recognizing competencies in guideline-directed heart failure management. The HF-Cert program is anticipated to launch in early 2022!

Journal of Cardiac Failure
Receive a complimentary subscription (online and print) to HFSA’s official scientific publication the Journal of Cardiac Failure. Includes full access to all past and current online issues, as well as supplements of all abstracts presented at the HFSA Annual Scientific Meeting

HFSA Research Network.  Become a member of the Heart Failure Research Network, which connects public and private companies in need of heart failure research with researchers and research sites in the heart failure field

Scientific Statements and Guidelines.  Get access to the most up-to-date and developing scientific statements, from major guidelines to focused consensus statements.  Opportunities to participate in the development of papers that impact the heart failure

Leadership

Heart failure patients and non-professional caregivers who want greater involvement in building awareness and acting as an advocate for the heart failure patient and caregiver community can sign up for complimentary Patient and Caregiver Membership.
