This HFSA Patient & Caregiver webinar provided information on various medical devices used in HF treatment and how continuous monitoring can help in managing the condition effectively. Participants will learn to identify the types of devices available for HF treatment and their functions, how these devices contribute to improved patient outcomes and monitoring, and the benefits of continuous monitoring and how it can assist in managing HF efficiently.

This HFSA Patient and Caregiver webinar, Successfully Navigating the Holidays with Heart Failure, will help heart failure patients prepare for and manage their heart failure through the holidays by addressing nutrition, activity/exercise, adherence to medication, and if and when to contact their provider.

HFSA hosted a webinar on Cardiac Amyloidosis: The Heart of the Matter on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 6:00 - 6:45 PM ET. This patient and caregiver webinar informed viewers on the key issues facing patients with ATTR-CM and their caregivers. The webinar provided an overview of the types of transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis - Wild-type ATTR‑CM (wATTR) and Hereditary ATTR‑CM (hATTR) - including symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and management, as well as current clinical trials for ATTR-CM.

The program provided patients and caregivers the opportunity to participate in educational discussions with leading heart failure experts.
