The Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology subspecialty focuses on diagnostic reasoning, clinical research, appropriate mechanical circulatory support and treatment, and patient-centered care in the management of advanced heart failure and cardiology transplant patients.  

  • Applicants to the NRMP must have completed a ACGME, RCPSC, or CFPC (Canadian) accredited cardiovascular disease residency program. 
  • AHFTC fellowships last one year

The Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS®) streamlines the residency application process for applicants, their Designated Dean's Offices, Letter of Recommendation authors, and program directors.
