Personalized Heart Failure Care: Integrating Device Therapy Across the Ejection Fraction Spectrum

This session will be an interactive conversation centered on cardiac rhythm management device use in patients spanning the heart failure spectrum, in a format that focuses on the most important aspect of care: the patient. The first case-based discussion will focus on sudden cardiac death prevention in patients with HFrEF, highlighting the complementary roles of HF medications and ICD therapy. The second case-based discussion will address common misconceptions about heart rate lowering in HFpEF and discuss a paradigm-challenging approach: personalized accelerated pacing.
