Mastering the Dynamics of Worsening HFrEF: An In-Depth Approach to Effective Management
The definition of worsening heart failure (WHF) includes hospitalized and non-hospitalized patients. In addition to treating congestion and optimizing foundational, quadruple guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT), additional therapies for worsening heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) are very important for further reducing residual risk. Faculty members will identify integral roles of multidisciplinary clinicians for the prevention of WHF, early diagnosis of WHF, and rapid intensification of treatment with foundational and additional therapy to improve clinical outcomes.
