Heart Failure Awareness Week 2025
Heart failure is a serious yet often misunderstood condition that occurs when the heart can’t pump blood effectively, leading to an array of symptoms like fatigue and shortness of breath. Approximately 6.7 million Americans over the age of 20 have heart failure, and this number is expected to rise to 8.5 million in 2030, according to HF Stats. Now, more than ever, raising awareness is essential for building a stronger, healthier community.
Join HFSA in celebrating Heart Failure Awareness Week February 9-15, 2025 as we aim to:
- Help individuals understand their risk
- Foster early intervention
- Empower patients, caregivers, and providers to take informed actions
- Promote better management of heart failure
- Encourage heart-healthy habits
