Site-Based Research Awards: Recognizing Exceptional Site-Based Research Teams that Support Clinical Trial Success
Clinical trials and the teams that drive their success and innovation are critical to improving and expanding heart failure care. The Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA), in collaboration with the Heart Failure Collaboratory (HFC), is pleased to recognize the site-based research teams leading the effort to harness the transformative power of clinical trials in heart failure care and outcomes through the Site-Based Research Awards.
These awards are given to site-based research teams that have demonstrated excellence in the following areas:
- Recruitment and enrollment of study participants
- Data collection and management
- Quality assurance
- Patient safety
- Education and outreach
Clinical trial results are vital to scientific advancement and improved care of our patients living with heart failure. While we continue to innovate in clinical trials, site-based research teams remain essential to successful evidence generation. It is incumbent upon us to encourage, promote and reward efforts that allow for that success.
