Giving Tuesday (December 3, 2024) is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. HFSA wants to transform the future of heart failure treatment through the Heart Failure Research Foundation.
We are encouraging the heart failure community to #Give4theHeart on Giving Tuesday and support the Heart Failure Research Foundation with a charitable donation. Take this chance to learn more about the Foundation, and its vision to support new researchers and new ideas that will improve the lives of patients.
There is a significant research funding gap – funding research means finding hope for patients.
The Foundation’s investments will foster the development of new researchers and new ideas, infusing the field of heart failure research with innovative concepts. Our goal is to push forward both our scientific understanding of the disease and narrow the practice gap with implementation science that advances patient treatment.
The Foundation just closed its call for our first Emerging Leaders Grant applications. We received two dozen worthy applications from promising new investigators. But we can only fund one or two of these dedicated researchers. Your generous giving is so important – the more our community gives, the more research we can support.
By my making your charitable donation this Giving Tuesday to the Heart Failure Research Foundation, you are joining HFSA leaders Michael Felker (HFSA President), Jim Fang (HFSA Immediate Past President), and John Barnes (HFSA CEO) in supporting this critical work. They have all made personal gifts to support the HF Research Foundation this year, will you join them?
During Giving Tuesday, HFSA wants you to both give and share your heart failure story – whether you are a patient, family member, doctor, nurse, pharmacist, or researcher. Post your story on social media, tag HFSA, and use the hashtag #Give4theHeart.
