Tomasz (Tom) Jurga is a clinical pharmacist practitioner at the Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He practices at the outpatient cardiology clinic, where he provides comprehensive medication management services with a great focus on coronary artery disease and heart failure therapies. Tom is chiefly responsible for optimizing and managing guideline-directed medical therapies. In addition to his clinical practice, he serves as a subject matter expert for the Veterans Affairs Academic Detailing Department and has helped create numerous educational resources for the Veterans Health Department on subjects like heart failure medication management. His main research interests include drug therapy optimization modalities, cardiovascular disease risk reduction, and collaborative management of chronic disease states. 

Tom provides educational talks and written works on a regional and national level within the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and the American College of Cardiology. Currently a Michigan resident, in his free time he and his wife love to go on hikes, kayak, bike, and immerse themselves in nature.
