Sarine Beukian, AGACNP-BC, FHFSA is a CCU and Cardiology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at the Columbia University Medical Center/ New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Sarine is passionate about hemodynamics, heart failure, cardiac transplantation, and acute mechanical circulatory support.
Sarine obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the American University of Beirut and after gaining work experience as a CCU nurse at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, she joined Case Western Reserve University as clinical faculty while earning her Master’s degree in Nursing. She completed her clinical rotations at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center and Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where she also carried her undergraduate nursing student clinicals.
Sarine is active in both clinical practice and research. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA). She currently serves on the membership committee at the HFSA and previously on the women in HF committee for two consecutive years, taking lead on several initiatives.
