Dr. Paul Heidenreich is Professor and Vice-Chair for Quality in the Department of Medicine in the Stanford University School of Medicine. He is also if Chief of Medicine at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. He is a practicing non-invasive cardiologist at Stanford Health Care and the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. His clinical interests include cardiac imaging, heart failure and performance measurement. Dr. Heidenreich has an extensive background in outcomes and health services research in the areas of technology assessment, epidemiology, and quality of care.
