Dr. Nisha A. Gilotra is an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she is the Director of Heart Failure Disease Management and the Johns Hopkins Cardiac Sarcoidosis Program.
Dr. Gilotra received her medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her medical residency including a chief resident year as Assistant Chief of Service of the Osler Medical Service, general cardiology fellowship and advanced heart failure fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Her clinical and research focus is in inflammatory cardiomyopathies, specifically improving and investigating diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, clinical outcomes and advanced heart failure therapies in sarcoidosis and myocarditis. She additionally has a passion for working in an interdisciplinary fashion to improve and innovate evidence-based care delivery for patients with heart failure.
