Mark Belkin is currently an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellow at the University of Chicago. He is originally from the Chicago area, and he graduated medical school from Rush Medical College. He then completed Internal Medicine Residency and General Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Chicago. His research interests include identifying invasive hemodynamic markers in cardiogenic shock that may help guide individualized treatment decisions and help inform the prognosis for myocardial recovery. He is excited to join the exciting field of Advanced Heart Failure after the completion of his training this year.
