Mark Belkin is currently an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologist at the University of Chicago. He is originally from the Chicago area, and he graduated medical school from Rush Medical College. He then completed Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiology Fellowship, and AHFTC fellowship at the University of Chicago. His research interests include identifying invasive hemodynamic markers in cardiogenic shock that may help guide individualized treatment decisions and help inform the prognosis for myocardial recovery. He is excited for the opportunity to join the HFSA Early Career Committee beginning at ASM 2022!
