The Journal of Cardiac Failure is pleased to announce a Call For Papers for a Focus Issue on Pharmacotherapy in Patients with Heart Failure for publication in an issue during the summer of 2021. 

We invite submission of original research studies, reviews, brief reports, and research letters that address any aspect of heart failure and pharmacy, including (but not limited to):

• Transitions of Care 
• Management of Pharmacotherapy
• Patient Access to Medications
• Patient Education and Shared Decision Making for guideline directed medical therapy (GDMT)
• Challenges In Achieving Maximal GDMT 
• Polypharmacy, its burden and potential solutions

In line with our core values at JCF, we welcome and encourage multi-disciplinary collaborations (e.g., pharmacists, nurses, physicians) and encourage inclusion of the patient voice/perspective. 

We also value inclusion of diverse and representative co-authors. 

JCF aims to feature, promote and highlight women, underrepresented minorities, and early career individuals.
