Dr. Abraham is a cardiologist with the Providence Heart Institute and the section head of Advanced Heart Failure. Dr. Abraham began the advanced heart failure program at Providence in 2009 and played a central role in the development of programs in hemodynamic monitoring, durable left ventricular assist device, cardiogenic shock/temporary mechanical circulatory support, and most recently, heart transplantation.

Dr. Abraham is a member of the Cardiogenic Shock Working Group (CSWG) and co-founder of Hemodynamic Frontiers of Heart Failure (HF2).

He is an active investigator for clinical trials for all stages of heart failure.
