Bethesda, MD (August 11, 2015) - On behalf of the Heart Rhythm Society, a special opportunity for senior electrophysiology fellows is now available. Medtronic Inc. has provided an educational grant to conduct the Medtronic Fellows Cryo Certification Course on Friday, October 30, 2015, in conjunction with attendance at the 6th Annual Contemporary, Challenging, and Controversial Issues in Electrophysiology on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday AM, November 1 at the Westin New York at Times Square Hotel. Participation is targeted for EP fellows in the final year of training at an accredited program.

The fellowship will cover the following expenses for awardees: (1) round trip coach airfare, (2) 2 nights accommodation at the Westin, (3) registration fee for the weekend meeting, and(4) approved incidental expenses.

There are a limited number of available scholarships and an application must be submitted for review by the selection committee. The application should include (1) letter of interest from the fellow applicant, (2) CV of fellow applicant, and (3) letter of support from the EP fellowship director.
