The Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA) Heart Failure Seminars offer an invaluable resource for heart failure providers. These one- to one-and-a-half-hour seminars are designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals in heart failure management.

Best of all, HFSA Heart Failure Seminars are free for HFSA members, providing an excellent opportunity to earn Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits without incurring any additional financial costs.

Earn Valuable Credits

In today’s fast-paced healthcare environment, staying informed about the latest advancements and best practices in heart failure care is crucial. Each seminar is carefully planned and reviewed by a diverse team of experts, ensuring the educational content is relevant and beneficial to a multidisciplinary audience, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and physician assistants. This comprehensive approach addresses the needs of all providers involved in heart failure management.

One of the key benefits of the HFSA Heart Failure Seminars is the opportunity to claim various professional credits, including CME, Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE), Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD), and Certified Physician Assistant (CPA) credits. Earning these credits is essential for healthcare professionals to maintain their licensure and stay current with evolving practices in heart failure management.

The topics for each seminar are selected based on current interests in the field, ensuring relevance and timeliness. The 2024 seminar series covers a range of important subjects, including guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT) updates, cognitive impairment in HF, iron deficiencies, advanced heart failure, novel and emerging myocarditides, and cardiogenic shock.

Feedback from participants indicates that the seminars have been valuable and educational. One attendee from the cardiogenic shock seminar remarked that it “helped me understand some of the perspectives of other team members, the way they think about these issues, and opened my eyes to ideas I had not considered.”

Attend Live or Watch OnDemand

HFSA Heart Failure Seminars are available as live virtual events or can be accessed later in the HFSA Learning Center. Live attendees can engage directly with expert speakers during question-and-answer segments, receiving immediate feedback on their inquiries. Live seminars also incorporate audience polling before and after each presentation to gauge learning effectiveness, allowing speakers to tailor their responses to the audience's specific needs. This direct engagement enhances the understanding of complex topics and enriches the overall learning experience.

In addition to presentations, both live and OnDemand learners gain access to downloadable PDFs of the presentation slides and any supplementary resources shared by our expert speakers, making these materials excellent reference tools for daily practice. To further improve the learning experience, future seminars will also include audio recordings, allowing for more opportunities to learn on the go.

Don’t miss out on this exceptional opportunity to enhance your professional development and the quality of care you provide. For more information on HFSA Heart Failure Seminars, please visit the HFSA website today.
