The Heart Failure Society of America offers HFSA members the opportunity to gain a fellowship designation with the FHFSA program, open to all members who meet requirements.
Fellowship is one of the most distinguished designations the HFSA offers to members. Fellowship status is a recognition of your professional achievements and contributions to the society. The designation is based on outstanding credentials, achievements and contributions to heart failure medicine.
Those who are elected to fellowship demonstrate to their peers and their patients their commitment to quality heart failure care. Fellows are committed to enhancing their knowledge of heart failure issues and obtaining valuable professional experience that enriches their careers.
If you are committed to the heart failure profession, if you have participated in a leadership role at HFSA and in the heart failure community, if you can point to your achievements and accomplishments in the heart failure field on behalf of your patients – you should become a Fellow.
And, if one of your colleagues has done the same – they should become a Fellow.
Becoming a Fellow identifies you as a heart failure leader. Current Fellows have promoted innovative clinical practice, strived to manage patients by providing guideline-directed heart failure therapies, and facilitated best practices of colleagues through collaboration, mentorship and education.
Go here for more information about applying for the FHFSA designation and details on requirements for designation. Applications can be submitted until April 30. The HFSA Board of Directors will make decisions on this year’s new Fellows this summer.
We need more heart failure professionals to step up as Fellows – to show our young professionals how they can accelerate best heart failure practices and meet the vision and mission of the Heart Failure Society of America.
Are you ready to step up?
