HFSA Call for Session Proposals
Submission Deadline: December 11, 2017, 11:59 CST
22nd Annual Scientific Meeting
September 15 – 18, 2018
Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center | Nashville, TN
Submitting a session proposal offers the opportunity to directly participate in the development of the scientific program. Over the years, these submissions have resulted in outstanding sessions on a diverse set of topics in the field of heart failure.
The 2018 Program Committee invites you to submit new session ideas, new educational formats, and any other ideas that you may find compelling. Proposals that include multidisciplinary faculty are highly encouraged and will be given preference when the topic area permits. We are also particularly interested in session proposals that go from basic mechanisms to clinical practice for a given topic area.
Proposals are due by December 11, 2017. Review begins right away and late proposals will not be accepted.
You will need the following information to complete the online submission process:
- Session Information: Session title, Description, Learning Objectives, and Session Type
- Moderators: Full names, institution and email for 2 moderators
- Speakers: Full name, institution, presentation title, presentation description, presentation length for talks/speakers for the proposed 60-90 minute session.
- Submitter Information: Full name, institution, address and any disclosures relevant to the session proposal.
All proposals will be considered by the Program Committee through a rigorous and multi-stage review process in a genuine effort to ensure the best possible scientific program containing high-quality sessions. The Program Committee reserves the right to modify, combine, and revise all proposals, including both content and proposed speakers/moderators. It is important to stress that only a fraction of the submitted proposals can be selected for inclusion in the final HFSA 2018 Program.
The 2018 Advance Program and initial speaker invitations will be announced in April 2018. Please check the 22nd Annual Meeting website for an update of final selected sessions, moderators and speakers.
