The Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA) Board of Directors has announced it is now conducting a search for the next Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Cardiac Failure.
Paul Hauptman, MD, Professor and Dean at the Graduate School of Medicine at the University of Tennessee, has served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cardiac Failure, a publication of the HFSA, since January 2015.
“The Heart Failure Society of America appreciates Dr. Hauptman’s leadership of the Journal over the last six years,” said Biykem Bozkurt, MD, FHFSA, FACC, President of HFSA. “The Journal has made significant strides during Paul’s tenure and we look forward to continued innovation for our journal.”
Dr. Hauptman stated “I greatly appreciate the efforts of Senior Associate Editor Michael Rich and the entire roster of Associate Editors and Statistical Consultants whose expertise and professionalism helped to move the Journal forward”
