Data Collection Now Available for NHLBI's Big Data Analysis Challenge: Creating Paradigms for Heart Failure Research

Practice News Research

In March, NHLBI, part of the National Institutes of Health, announced the NHLBI Big Data Analysis Challenge: Creating Paradigms for Heart Failure Research. Through this Challenge, NHLBI is inviting eligible individuals and teams to develop new, open-source disease models for the advancement in adult heart failure research.

Now, a new list of NHLBI-funded datasets within the database of Genotypes and Phenotypes (dbGaP) with limitations fitting the scope of the Challenge is available, and the datasets in the collection do not require institutional review board approval for their use.

Visit the How to Access NHLBI Data Challenge webpage to learn more about accessing the NHLBI Big Data Analysis Heart Failure Challenge Data Collection, other NHLBI dbGaP datasets, and NHLBI BioLINCC (data and biospecimens repository) for the Challenge.
