Colby began his academic journey by earning an undergraduate degree in Biology from Saint Michael's College. Inspired by a desire to transform his own health challenges into a purposeful calling, he pursued a medical education at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. His unwavering determination led him to complete an Internal Medicine residency at UMass-Chan Baystate, followed by a Cardiology fellowship at the same institution.
