Alison Brann is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the section of Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology at the University of Utah. Dr. Brann obtained her Medical Degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago, followed by training at the University of California San Diego where she completed residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship. She subsequently completed fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology at the University of Utah in 2024. In addition to advanced heart failure, transplant and mechanical circulatory support, Dr. Brann has a clinical interest in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and inherited cardiomyopathies. Outside of work Alison enjoys skiing, snowboarding, golfing, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
