Register Early!

The Early Registration Deadline is July 25, 2008; Registration Fees increase after this date.

Two Ways to Register

For those who pre-register badges may be picked up at the Metro Toronto Convention Center (North Building) beginning 9:00 AM Saturday, September 20th.

  1. On-line: Click here to register on-line. Credit card only (American Express, Visa, Mastercard) If paying by credit card, must register on-line.

  2. HFSA Members: After you have logged in, please verify that you are a member by clicking on"search" after you have entered your name. This will assure that you are charged the membership rate. Failure to search may result in your being referred to the nonmember rates.

    HFSA Nonmembers: After logging in, simply follow the instructions for registering.

    Once registered a confirmation will be sent by to you by e-mail.

    If paying by check/money order, remember:

    • Registration Forms will not be processed without payment
    • Purchase orders are not accepted
    • Wire/bank transfers are not accepted
    • All requested information must be provided in order for Registration Forms to be processed.

Registration Cancellation / Refund Policy

If notice of cancellation is received in writing prior to Friday, August 15, 2008, registration fee will be refunded less a $75 administrative fee. No refunds will be granted for any reason after August 15, 2008. Registration not transferrable.

On-Site Registration

On-site registration opens on Saturday, September 20, at 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Metro Toronto Convention Centre (North Building). VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards, checks or money orders (drawn on US banks in US dollars only) accepted. Checks should be made payable to Heart Failure Society of America.

Fellows, Interns, and Residents registering on-site will need a verification letter in order to receive the reduced trainee registration rate.

One-Day Registration

A one-day registration rate is available on-site only. Access to scientific sessions and the exhibits is for the day of purchase only.

Abstract Presenters (Trainees)

A limited number of travel grants ($500) will be available to trainees whose abstracts are accepted. Trainee must attend and present the abstract.

Information regarding travel grants will be sent with abstract acceptance letters. Grants are awarded on a first-come first-serve basis. Only one travel grant will be awarded per trainee.
