Educational Materials
Educational Modules on Heart Failure
HFSA has developed and published a series of modules designed to help patients,
their families, and individuals at risk learn more about heart
failure in easy to understand language. The modules cover a variety of topics including
low sodium diet, medicines to treat heart failure, self care, exercise and activity,
heart rhythm problems etc. These modules are not intended to replace regular medical care.
Heart Failure 2006 - Online CME Webcast
These on-demand programs consist of three two-hour online slide presentations with corresponding audio. Category 1 AMA credit, AAFP Prescribed credit, and nursing credit are available.
Heart Failure Awareness Event Materials
The HFSA has produced a turn-key kit and
supplemental materials to
assist professionals in planning local events related to heart failure either during National Heart Failure
Awareness week (February 11-17, 2007) or at other times during the year.
