Poster Guidelines for the 12th HFSA Annual Scientific Meeting
September 21-24, 2008
Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC)
Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Location
Posters will be set up in the Exhibit Hall, North Building, Metro Toronto Convention Center.
Posters may be set up between 7:00-9:00 AM on the day of presentation.
Please follow entrance and exit instructions from security personnel as exhibits
do not open until 9:00 AM. Posters will be on display from 9:00 AM -7:00 PM
on the day of presentation.
Poster presenters are expected to be at their posters from
5:45-6:45 PM on the day of presentation.
Posters must be removed by 7:00 PM. Posters not removed will
be discarded. The HFSA assumes no responsibility for damaged or lost artwork.
Poster Set Up and Display
An abstract number on the poster board will identify the location of your poster.
Posters will be displayed on horizontal stands. The poster board measures 8 ft
wide x 4 ft high (243 x 121 cm). Information posted cannot exceed the width and
height of the board. Any oversized materials will be trimmed to fit the board.
Push pins will be provided.
Audiovisual equipment (i.e., computers, video/audio tapes, slides, etc.) is prohibited at the poster displays.

Poster Presenter Disclosure Information
CME providers have policies that require disclosure by poster presenters
and co-authors of relationships with companies having an interest in the
subject matter being presented. Disclosure information for poster presenters
and co-authors will be distributed to all attendees as part of the
Author/Presenter Disclosure Booklet.
Registration
All poster presenters must register for the meeting. Reduced registration rates are
available until July 25. 2008.
Poster presenters who are full-time trainees at the time of
the meeting are eligible for complimentary registration. In order to be considered,
a copy of the abstract acceptance letter AND a
signed letter from your program director must accompany the registration form.
Trainee Travel Grants
A limited number of travel grants (one/trainee) of $500 each are available for full-time trainees.
(Trainee must be the presenter and a full-time trainee at the time of the meeting.) Grants will be awarded on a first-come,
first-serve basis. Information about the travel grants will be included in acceptance letters for abstracts. The awards will be available for pick-up at the HFSA booth during the annual meeting.
