Clinical Trial Row Information Purpose
To provide a venue for groups participating in heart failure drug and device clinical trials the opportunity to post information about a trial in the recruitment or follow-up phase. It is not to be used to report trial results.

The cost is $850 per board (no refunds for any reason).

Location
Clinical Trial Row will be set up in Exhibition Hall, Sails Pavillion, San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, CA.

Board Set Up
The board(s) may be set up between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 12th. Boards must be set up by 3:00 PM. Individuals staffing the boards must be registered for the meeting.

Staffing
Boards can be staffed at any time during regular Exhibit Hall hours, including the Opening Reception on Sunday evening, September 12th, 6:00-8:00 PM.

All Boards must remain intact until the Exhibit Hall closes Tuesday, September 14th at 7:00 PM. Materials not removed will be discarded. The HFSA assumes no responsibility for materials left on the boards. All other rules for exhibiting apply.

Board Size
A number will be posted on the board which will identify the location of your clinical trial. The information will be displayed on horizontal stands. The board measures 8 ft wide x 4 ft high (243 x 121 cm). Push pins will be provided.

Information to be posted on the board may include:

  • How to become a center
  • Inclusion/exclusion criteria
  • List of centers participating
  • Name of trial
  • Payments to centers
  • Pocket for brochures describing trial/contract information
  • Protocols
  • Recruitment dates
  • Reporting requirements
  • Source of financial support
  • Sponsor
  • Statistical power
  • Trial design

Audiovisual equipment (i.e., computers, video/audio tapes, slides, etc.) is prohibited. All other rules for exhibiting apply. See 2010 Exhibit Prospectus. (PDF 1.5 MB)
